Help K9 Finn - WatchDog Heat Alert System

from 10.00

Meet K9 Finn with the Cumberland Township Police in Pennsylvania.

K9 Finn was born in the Netherlands, and then attended training at the Atlantic County K9 Academy, and continues training through NAPWDA and PPWDA in Narcotics detection and patrol work. Finn's favorite off duty activity is playing ball with his handler and his family. We hope to receive the Watchdog smartphone add on for the Ace K9 hot n pop that we already had installed from a donation. This would help Finn's handler keep him safe. Due to the nature of the area we work, Finn's handler may at times be out of ear shot of the vehicle, so if the heat alarm activates, he would not know. With the watchdog add on, Finn's handler, Cpl McIntyre, could be notified of a dangerous situation occurring in the car by receiving notification on his cell phone, and our dispatch center could also be notified, to contact Cpl. McIntyre via police radio to notify him to check on his partner Finn

About the device:

This device is literally a life saver! This innovative device sends status information, warnings and alerts from the heat alarm directly to K9 Finn’s partner via a Smart Phone. The K9 handler will never have to worry about not knowing if the air conditioner is working or if it gets too hot in the car, with this device, all she has to do is pull up the app on her smart phone anytime to check and it will send her an alert if the temperature rises rapidly.

GOAL:

Each device is $900 but will not only give the handler peace of mind, this device will keep K9 Finn safe.
